Sam J. Collett, III

Sam J. Collett, III joined the firm in 2019 after spending years working with another local law firm. Sam has a diverse legal practice and is experienced in handling a broad array of legal issues for clients. Sam obtained his Bachelor degree in International Trade & Finance from the LSU E.J. Ourso College of Business, with a minor in Spanish. He was awarded the Chancellor’s Medal for earning a 4.0 cumulative GPA. While at LSU, Sam worked with Spanish-speaking students at local high schools, helping them to bridge the language gap to better understand their schoolwork. Sam earned his J.D./D.C.L., cum laude, from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in May of 2015. He received multiple CALI awards and was appointed to the Chancellor’s List and a Paul M. Hebert Scholar. He also studied comparative law at Universit√© Jean Moulin (Lyon III) in Lyon, France. Sam was born and raised in Bogalusa, Louisiana, and now resides in Covington. He is an avid outdoorsman, and when not working with his clients, Sam can most likely be found in the Louisiana marsh.
