Mrs. Erica A. Hyla graduated cum laude from Louisiana State University with a degree in marketing. She earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where she graduated magna cum laude. While at Loyola University College of Law, Mrs. Hyla was a Teacher’s Assistant for Legal Research and Writing, a Legal Research Assistant, and taught street law classes at Grace King High School. She was the recipient of several scholarships including the: Providence Sarah LaNasa Scholarship, Frederick J. Gisevius, Jr. Scholarship, and the Loyola University College of Law Grant. Mrs. Hyla graduated from Loyola in 2012 ranked first in the evening division and sixth overall. She was also honored as a member of the Loyola Law Review, a William L. Crowe, Sr., Scholar and received recognition for excellence in several courses. Mrs. Hyla currently resides in Slidell, Louisiana with her husband and two sons.
